Our Story

A family truck built on real recipes.

Chef Andy started El Placerito in 2012 — cooking the same dishes his family had made for generations. What began with a single truck and a lot of belief has grown into one of Norwalk's most quietly beloved evening spots.

Every night Andy is out there with his brother and his daughter, making it from scratch the same way it's always been made. No shortcuts. Just real ingredients and family recipes that have been earned over time.
